27th Annual Latina History Day Conference

WHEN: March 9, 7:30 A.M. – 4 P.M.

WHERE: Millenium Biltmore Los Angeles

WHAT: Latina History Day is the only conference in Los Angeles that is designed specifically to meet the needs of Latina professionals; offering resources, skill development, and networking opportunities to advance their careers.

WHY: Know your history.

Las Fotos Presents the 4th Annual Viva la Muxer Festival

WHEN: March 10, 6 P.M.- 11 P.M.

WHERE: Plaza de la Raza

WHAT: An annual International Women’s Day celebration uniting and empowering women artists, entrepreneurs, and changemakers from across Los Angeles.

WHY: 100 percent of Viva La Muxer proceeds will support Las Fotos Project, a nonprofit organization and brave space for teenage girls to collaborate, learn, and inspire.

Singin’ in the Rain in 35mm

WHEN: March 10, 10:30 A.M.- 1 P.M.

WHERE: Vista Theater

WHAT: The classic musical (some might call it the best ever made) presented in stunning 35 millimeter.

Los Angeles Magazine Whiskey Festival

WHERE: Museum of Flying

WHAT: The finest local whiskeys for your tasting pleasure.

WHY: Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails and barrel-aged booze, oh my!

Black Candies: The 80s Hits Los Angeles

WHEN: March 16, 7 P.M.- 9 P.M.

WHERE: The Pop Hop, Highland Park

WHAT: A horror story reading with an ‘80s twist.

WHY: Love the 80s? Love words? This one’s for you.

2018 Los Angeles Marathon

WHEN: March 18, 6:30 A.M. – 2:30 P.M.

WHERE: Dodger’s Stadium

WHAT: A run to end global hunger.

WHY: Participate or cheer on your friends from the finish line.

Daddy Issues- #2 Zine Launch Party

WHEN: March 19, 9 P.M. – 2 A.M.

WHERE: The Lash

WHAT: Get your hands on a copy of the Daddy Issues zine while partying the night away.

WHY: What better way to spend St. Patty’s day?

Orpheus and Eurydice

WHEN: March 21, 7:30 – 11:30 P.M.

Black Women’s Club Democratic Launch Party

WHAT: A kickoff event for networking and learning.
