Date Night In Times Of COVID

As things to do in times of COVID-19 dwindle down to staying in your home and watching a specific streaming app. One local small business has shifted their company to provide a unique dining/party experience, all hand-delivered to your door.

“Of The Night” was created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the city’s response to public gatherings, a center point for the Disco Dining Club concept.

By the creators of the eccentric LA dining experience Disco Dining Club, the new concept “Of the Night” is an experience in a box, designed with a unique, theatrical theme and includes local snacks, themed adult beverages, eclectic decor, playful accessories and activities, and more – making an at-home date night extra unique. You can even add-on a themed theatrical performance by local performers right at your doorstep.

“Of the Night” was founded by Courtney Nichols, a nightlife impresario who carved an eccentric niche with her theatrical and thematic dinner parties and Blakeshine, a comedian who has made her rounds about LA. Blakeshine has designed immersive stages for music festivals across the U.S and is a “demonstrated expert in the comic realm” according to Dancing Astronaut.

When talking about “Of the Night” Nichols states, “‘At Of the Night’ we believe that a fabulous night-in should make you look and feel amazing. With 10% of our proceeds benefitting Gays & Lesbians Living In a Transgender Society (G.L.I.T.S.), The Center For Reproductive Rights, and The Actor’s Fund, we are on a mission to do good while having all the fun.

Of the Night is here to reinvigorate your Friday night with theatrical and thematic experiences dropped directly at your front door. Emulating those blissful evenings out on the town when color and jubilance took center stage, Of the Night is here to once again make your weekend iconic.”

Each Of the Night package satiates 2 eager partiers and comes with at least: one bottle of liquor, something edible, various activities, a costume accessory, an element of decor and a link to a curated playlist. The exciting details of each item is kept a secret until it’s delivered to your doorstep. Prices start at $120 per package. Add-ons available including a theatrical performance by a local troupe, a photography kit (themed backdrop and disposable camera) and more.

You can choose different themes from Gnomes of the Night, Psychedelia of the Night, 90’s Slumber Party of the Night, and more.

At checkout, you will be asked which of the following 3 non-profits you would like to support with your purchase. GAYS & LESBIANS LIVING IN A TRANSGENDER SOCIETY (G.L.I.T.S.), THE CENTER FOR REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS and THE ACTOR’S FUND.

If you’re looking to bring the party to your home you need to book in advance. For mornings such as the release schedule, the different themes and prices visit www.ofthenight.club
