Free Comic Book Day

WHERE: Santa Monica Public Library

WHAT: Stop by any Santa Monica Library location to pick up a free comic book.  All ages, while supplies last.

WHY: Comic book creator meet n’ greets and cosplay contests to follow.

 

Keep Marching with Kristin Rowe-Finkbeiner

WHEN: May 6, 6 P.M.

WHERE: The Last Bookstore

WHAT: “Keep Marching: How Every Woman Can Take Action and Change Our World” is a thorough, well-researched guide, comprised of straightforward How To’s, lists of policy recommendations, and strategies in how we can foster an intersectional movement for women’s equality and equity.

WHY: Stoke the flames of feminist activism.
