Venice Pride and James’ Beach will present a monstrous dance party titled Zombie Beach to celebrate this Halloween season.
The event will take place on Saturday October 30th and will feature music by Super DJ Victor Rodriguez, a haunted bar and zombie go-go dancers. The party will start at 9pm-2am at James’ Beach located at 60 N Venice Blvd.
Guests are encouraged to dress in their “spookiest attire” for a chance to win $500 in prizes in a costume contest.
Capacity is limited and tickets are anticipated to sell out. Early bird tickets are $10, general admission will go for $15 and last call tickets will cost $20.
Guests can buy tickets at venicepride.org/zombie. Any ticket purchased will go to support Venice Prode, a nonprofit dedicated to saving lives through acceptance of diversity.
On their social media site Venice Pride reminds everyone that “this is a space for everyone to feel welcome. Racism, sexism, ableism, ageism, homophobia, transphobia, or any other form of discrimination will not be tolerated. All restrooms are gender inclusive. Everyone is free to use the restroom that best fits their gender identity or expression”.
Zombie Beach is a vaccine-only event. Digital or physical vaccination cards (photos will be accepted) and matching ID will be required to enter the event.
