Celebrate National Coming Out Day in Pasadena Memorial Park for its annual celebration.
Pasadena Public Health Department, Pasadena Public Library and Pasadena Parks, Recreation and Community Services will host Pasadena’s 6th annual Coming Out Day Celebration on Monday, Oct. 11, 2021, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Park, located on the corner of Raymond Avenue and Walnut Street. The annual, free event is part of the City’s efforts to celebrate and foster an inclusive community.
Visitors can enjoy free food, prizes, resource tables, COVID-19 vaccines, HIV testing, and more!
A special keynote will be provided by television personality, actor, and “Gameshow Guru” Tyanta Snow and the event will be Hosted by Tia Wanna and featuring drag queen story time. All ages are welcome and admission is free.
National Coming Out Day is an annual LGBT awareness day observed on October 11th, to support lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in “coming out of the closet”.
