Newsom To Sign Into Law $50M To Help Performing Arts Organizations

Governor Gavin Newsom will be signing into a law $50 million in financial relief to help small performing arts organizations. 

Hollywood Stars and Arts Leaders will be coming out to attend a press conference to celebrate Newsom’s signing into law $50 million in immediate financial relief to small performing arts organizations in the state of California.

This will affect organizations with annual budgets under $2 million and signing into law $500 thousand to set up a Payroll Services to support State Senator Susan Rubio’s (D, Baldwin Park) Senate Bill 805 (SB 805), “Save The Performing Arts Act of 2021.”

 The press conference, which will also be attended by SB 805 Coalition Members as well, will be held on Monday, August 16, 2021 from 9:30 – 10:00 a.m. at The Fountain Theatre, an award-winning venue, located at 5060 Fountain Avenue (at Normandie Avenue), Los Angeles,
