WeHo Will Host Four Rent Stabilization Ordinance Educational Seminars

The City of West Hollywood will host four Rent Stabilization Ordinance educational seminars in October 2021 — two aimed at tenants, the other two aimed at landlords.

These “RSO Building Blocks” seminars are part of a series of workshops typically held twice per year to educate property owners, managers, tenants, and community members about the City’s Rent Stabilization Ordinance (RSO). All four seminars will take place virtually via Zoom.

The four seminars being offered every Tuesday starting the first week in October are listed below:

“Tenant Basics” which will take place on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at 7 p.m.

“Tenant Advanced” which will take place on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 7 p.m.,

“Landlord Basics” will take place on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 7 p.m.

“Landlord Advanced” will take place on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 7 p.m.

RSO Building Blocks educational seminars are free and open to the community. Translation for Russian or Spanish speakers can be made available if a request is received at least 72 hours before the workshop.

The City of West Hollywood’s Rent Stabilization and Housing Division is dedicated to programs that promote “the quality of residential life” — a core value of the City. The City provides a breadth of information and services to tenants, owners, and property managers of residential rental properties, which includes information services and written materials.
