This Just In: Long Beach Pride’s “Pink Party” Will Return

Here’s some good news for people who love Pink news: Long Beach Pride’s infamous Pink Party is returning this year to kick off the Pride festivities. And judging from the lineup, this year’s party is looking pinker and gayer than ever. Per the press release:

“The LGBTQ Center of Long Beach and AIDS Food Store are proud to
announce the return of the Pink Party on Friday, May 18, 2018, at Hamburger Mary’s beautiful Downtown location in Long Beach. This highly anticipated event kicks off the Long Beach Pride weekend and includes an elevated evening of high energy dance, world-renowned drag performances, signature Pink Party cocktails, prizes, and special guests.

The event will be hosted by legendary entertainer and drag queen Jewels and will feature an all-star lineup of RuPaul’s Drag Race celebrities and performances by the top tier DREAMGIRLS Revue. After the show, guests are invited to dance the night away with beats provided by DJ Smuckers.

“We are thrilled to partner with the AIDS Food Store for the return of the Pink Party,” says The Center’s executive director Porter Gilberg. “Hamburger Mary’s is the place to be Pride weekend and we can’t wait to welcome hundreds of locals and visitors alike for this incredibly special event.”
