It’s the most wonderful time of year, Halloween! Let the horror movies, pumpkin carving, seances, parties and general debauchery begin. Besides the easy theme parks-turned-scary options, there are so many ways to itch that spooky scratch. What better way than to do it with the LGBTQ+ community, because let’s face it, we know how to celebrate better than anyone. He’s a list of our top five Halloween picks in Los Angeles county.

No one quite does it like this one-mile stretch on Santa Monica Blvd. This event is a much-anticipated gathering of phenomenal costumes, entertainment, culture and self-expression with a myriad of observers, revelers, exhibitionists, and performers. Because planning and organizing the 25th anniversary of QFilms wasn’t enough for the LGBTQ Center of Long Beach this fall, they have more fun up their sleeves!
“HalloQueen is The Center’s first grown up Halloween party in several years so we’re going all out with hosted beverages, DJ, costumes, and incredible decorations,” Executive Director Porter Gilberg said. “Trust that your LGBTQ center and our fabulous gay hosts are throwing the holiday party of the year.”
HalloQueen is set to take place in a historical home in Bixby Knolls that is only revealed once you RSVP. So put on your favorite costume and leave the kids at home. This is one queer party you don’t want to miss! For more information, visit: https://www.centerlb.org/octoberparty.
