If you’re a connoisseur of classic film, a prison film genre junkie, or just a guy who loves to watch other guys eat eggs on screen, you’ve probably seen “Cool Hand Luke,” one of the films that put a young Paul Newman on the map in 1967.
The film’s plot, which is a little bit too absurd to go into, revolves around a strong-headed dude who ends up in sticking it to the Man in prison, and looking damn sexy in leg manacles. But none of that is important. What’s important is that it was 1967 and Paul Newman was at peak sexiness, looking pretty much impossibly fine in every single frame of the film.
