The 2020 Tea: Presidential Debate Viewing Party will take place at the Anita May Rosenstein campus tonight – Thursday, Dec. 19 at 5 p.m.
The LGBT Center’s Resistance Squad and Generation Forward’s Advocates will be hosting the event. They will be discussing policy implications for the LGBTQ+ community and how the Center helps fill in those gaps.
The debate, is from 8-10:30 p.m. (EST.). It will take place at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and is being co-hosted by PBS and Politico. The candidates speaking tonight will be: Andrew Yang, Pete Buttigieg, Elizabeth Warren, Joseph Biden, Bernie Sanders, Amy Klobuchar and Tom Steyer. This is the fewest candidate to participate in a debate so far this season. Biden remains the leading candidate in national polls, according to the New York Times. However, Buttigieg, Warren and Sanders are close behind.
The event is free to the public. There will be a bar and food for purchase. The viewing party will be held in the Pride Hall of the Anita May Rosenstein Campus at 116 N. McCadden Pl., Los Angeles. For more information, visit the event page HERE.
