Robert Williams and John Boatner, The Pride LA’s video team, attended the star-studded VIP Launch of Gal Pal, a new app that helps connect you with a new best friend.
The app celebrated it’s launch at the fabulous Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica. Celebrity guests enjoyed a champagne brunch, makeovers and manicures and much more. Think rich girl takes her new gay best friend out on the town for an afternoon of fun.
Celebrity guests included one of our favorites, the ubiquitous and always spot on Perez Hilton. Also in attendance was Siya from Sisterhood of Hip Hop, VH1’s famed Miles B, Award-winning photographer & filmmaker CJ Johnson, Model and TV host Dorion Renaud, model Daniel Miller, YouTube star Dion Yorkie, and Big Brother Season Three’s Marcellas Reynolds, among others.
Jasmine Sassounian, GALPAL’s founder, created GalPal to help bridge the gap that some say exists between LGBTQ and straight communities. Sassounian say she has an abiding faith in the power of loving friendships and wants to spread the love.
Gal Pal partnered with Rest in Pride, the video celebration of the lives lost in the attack on Pulse Nightclub in Orlando.
