Donald Trump, pandering to the Iowa evangelical vote, says he is opposed to the way the Supreme Court ruled on same-sex marriage and that he would appoint judges who would overturn it..
“I would have much preferred that they ruled at a state level and let the states make those rulings themselves,” Trump said in an interview with Fox News.
Just last month Trump told The Hollywood Reporter that the fight against same-sex marriage was a “dead issue” after the Supreme Court had its say. But he’s also consistently said he’s a believer in “traditional marriage.”
This from a man who has had multiple wives and payed hundreds of millions to his former spouses. He has not yet had a same-sex marriage (LOL).
Meanwhile, Ted Cruz, at a campaign rally in Hamlin, Iowa, Cruz urged his supporters to “awaken the body of Christ that we may pull back from the abyss.”
