Beverly Center to Host Third Annual Pride Celebration May 17 with Drag Shows, Music, and More
The Beverly Center will kick off Pride Month with the return of its third annual celebration, OUTLOUD Presents Pride @ BEV, on Saturday, May 17, offering an afternoon packed with drag performances, interactive brand activations, live music, and community-focused festivities all in support of LGBTQ+ youth.
The event, hosted in collaboration with JJLA, will run from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Grand Court on Level 6 of the shopping center. Tickets are $10, with all proceeds benefiting It Gets Better, a nonprofit organization that supports and empowers LGBTQ+ youth globally.
Headlining the celebration are performers from RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 17 — Onya Nurve, Arrietty, Kori King, and Suzie Toot — with local favorites Kyra Jete and Kalista Stage also joining the lineup. Hosting duties will be shared by OUTLOUD personalities Ryan Mitchell, Hannah Rad, and Arisce Wanzer.
Beyond the stage, guests can enjoy immersive experiences from popular Beverly Center retailers. Sephora will offer beauty stations, Bloomingdale’s will feature fragrance bars highlighting scents from Creed and Byredo, and Starbucks will keep attendees refreshed with a dedicated station. A prize-filled Spin Wheel will offer giveaways from brands including Crust & Crave, Gold’s Gym, Nicolas Eatery, and more.
Other highlights include a “Love Yourself” photo booth, Drag Queen Bingo hosted by Kyra Jete, and a DJ set from RuPaul’s Drag Race Canada alum Scarlett BoBo spinning in The Lounge near Bloomingdale’s. Complimentary treats will include popcorn and hand-dipped ice cream, while guests 21 and older can enjoy drinks from the LALO Tequila-sponsored bar.
Attendees will also have a chance to win wristbands to the OUTLOUD Music Festival set for May 31–June 1, which features a high-profile lineup including Lizzo, Remi Wolf, Honey Dijon, Paris Hilton, and Kim Petras.
Organizers encourage guests to celebrate Pride in both style and spirit while supporting a meaningful cause. For tickets and more information, visit Beverly Center’s event page
