Overnight Road Closures Planned for North La Cienega Boulevard Next Week

LADWP Pavement Restoration Work to Continue in West Hollywood

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) will continue its pavement restoration work in the West Hollywood area on the night of Monday, April 14, with road closures and traffic disruptions expected through early the next morning.

According to city officials, work will begin at 11 p.m. Monday and continue until 6 a.m. Tuesday, April 15. The project will affect North La Cienega Boulevard, particularly the stretch between Fountain Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard.

Portions of the Santa Monica Boulevard and La Cienega Boulevard intersection will be closed during the overnight work. Lane closures and traffic detours are expected, and drivers are strongly encouraged to avoid the area north of Santa Monica Boulevard during the project hours.

To help manage traffic flow and minimize disruptions, West Hollywood city staff and Parking Enforcement personnel will monitor the area and assist with traffic control if needed. Digital curbside message signs are being updated to notify commuters, and residents and business owners are receiving direct notice from LADWP.

Officials recommend that community members sign up for e-notifications for real-time updates on street closures and city maintenance projects.
