Details Remain Scarce as Police Investigate the Mysterious Death
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating after a body was discovered in plain sight near a high-rise residential complex in Century City on Monday morning.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded to a call at approximately 9:11 a.m. after a passerby reported finding a body near a dog park in the area of Century Park East and Galaxy Way.
Upon arrival, officers confirmed the presence of the body and requested a canopy, standard protocol in such cases. Officials have not yet determined the individual’s identity or disclosed whether the deceased is male or female.
As of Monday afternoon, authorities had not provided further details regarding the cause of death or any potential foul play. The LAPD has not released information on whether the case is being investigated as a homicide or if there were any signs of trauma.
