Cyndi Lauper Announces Final Leg of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour

Singer’s Last North American Run Includes Hollywood Bowl Performances

Musician and gay icon Cyndi Lauper has unveiled the final North American leg of her Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour, set to hit 25 cities across the continent this summer. The tour, which marks the legendary artist’s last major run of performances, kicks off on July 15 and includes two highly anticipated shows at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on August 29 and 30, as well as a stop at Jones Beach in Wantagh, NY, on July 19.

Tickets will be available through an artist presale starting Tuesday, March 11, at 10 a.m. local time. General ticket sales begin Friday, March 14, at 10 a.m. local time via LiveNation.com and CyndiLauper.com. A variety of VIP packages and experiences will also be offered, featuring premium tickets, access to an exclusive pre-show VIP lounge, and specially designed merchandise. More details on VIP experiences can be found at VIPNation.com.

The tour will feature rising pop artist and songwriter Jake Wesley Rogers as the opening act. Rogers, who Justin Tranter discovered, has previously shared the stage with artists like Panic! At the Disco and Kesha and has performed at major festivals and on his own headlining tour.

It’s been a tremendous past 12 months for Lauper, including the recent news that she has been nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s class of 2025. In addition to her tour and the release of Let The Canary Sing, a feature-length documentary film directed by Alison Elwood, streaming on Paramount Plus. She was also honored with a hand imprint ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood (with an introduction by her friends Cher and Bebe Rexha), and introduced Sabrina Carpenter’s performance at the MTV VMA Awards last fall.

Lauper’s Farewell Tour—her first major headlining tour in over a decade—began last October with a North American leg that included her debut headlining (and sold-out) performance at Madison Square Garden. The tour has been met with critical acclaim, earning praise from The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Billboard, Variety, Vulture, USA Today, and the New York Post. Along the way, special guest appearances from music icons such as Chaka Khan, Sam Smith, and Hayley Williams added to the spectacle.

After concluding its U.K. and European run, the Farewell Tour will continue with stops in Australia and Japan this April before returning to North America for its final leg.

Since launching her Farewell Tour, Lauper has been raising funds for the Girls Just Want to Have Fundamental Rights Fund at the Tides Foundation. Through direct donations at shows and online fundraising campaigns in collaboration with FanDiem, the initiative has already generated approximately $150,000 to support women’s rights.
