Linda Perry, recognized for her outspoken demeanor and iconic status in the music industry over the past three decades, has undergone a profound evolution from her chart-topping days with 4 Non-Blondes. Transitioning into a Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer, Perry has left an indelible mark on the music landscape, crafting hits for a diverse array of artists, including Dolly Parton, Christina Aguilera, Adele, and many others.

Beyond chronicling Perry’s illustrious career, Let It Die Here delves into the depths of her personal journey, capturing moments of vulnerability and courage as she grapples with life-altering decisions and existential questions. Director Don Hardy provides unprecedented access to Perry’s inner world, weaving together new footage, performances, and interviews with colleagues, family, and friends.

Reflecting on the documentary, Linda Perry shared, “When I watched this documentary for the first time, I felt proud of how revealing it is, and a little scared. It gave me some clarity because I was able to separate myself from the character on the screen and feel empathy for her. As much as I love being creative, I will admit that it’s also incredibly taxing at times.”

Director Don Hardy expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to explore Perry’s journey, stating, “Linda is one of the most iconic and original artists of our time, and I feel incredibly honored to have been let into her private world over the past couple of years.”

Executive Producer Daniel Seliger of Mercury Studios lauded Perry’s openness and bravery, remarking, “Mercury is grateful to Linda for letting us into her extraordinary world. Don [Hardy] has masterfully captured Linda’s complicated and often chaotic journey to self-acceptance while spotlighting her staggering talent and revealing her uncommon bravery.”

The documentary promises to offer audiences an intimate glimpse into the soul of a creative spirit, showcasing Perry’s unwavering commitment to authenticity and self-expression.
