LAPD Detains Suspects and Recovers Weapons
Gunfire erupted during a Super Bowl party at a residence in the Hollywood Hills, resulting in injuries to two men, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The shooting occurred in the early morning hours of Monday in the 1600 block of N Crescent Heights Blvd. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, but both victims, identified as individuals in their 20s, were transported to the hospital in stable condition.
Two potential suspects have been apprehended and are currently undergoing questioning by authorities. Additionally, law enforcement officers discovered two loaded firearms at the rear of the rental property.
Neighborhood residents have expressed concerns about the location, noting past disturbances associated with the residence. “Something’s got to change,” remarked a local resident during an interview with ABC7. “We don’t want this to continue. We want the city to do something.”
