West Hollywood Announces Snow-Tastic Winter Wonderland For The Whole Family

City Doubles Snow Play Area for Grand Festive Fun at West Hollywood Park

By Dolores Quintana

Let it snow! The City of West Hollywood is set to enchant residents and visitors alike with its second-annual Winter Wonderland event on Saturday, December 16, 2023, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The festive gathering will occur at West Hollywood Park, located at 647 N. San Vicente Boulevard.

The event’s main attraction is the magical transformation of West Hollywood Park into a Winter Wonderland, featuring an impressive 20 tons of snow on the Great Lawn. The City has amplified the snowy play area, doubling its size for a grand and gleeful experience, truly making this year’s celebration a snow-tastic delight!

Two designated snow zones will cater to different age groups, ensuring a joyful experience for everyone. So, bundle up in your gay apparel, sweaters, gloves, and boots, hop on your sleigh, and head to West Hollywood Park for an adventure filled with merriment and cheer—you’ll regret missing out on this snowy spectacle!

Beyond the snowy delights, the event will offer a variety of festivities, including crafts, holiday décor, hot cocoa and snacks, performances by community groups, and a DJ spinning holiday classics. Don’t forget to capture the joy with plenty of selfies, and remember, no resting Grinch face. In the event of rain, festivities will be relocated to the gymnasium inside the West Hollywood Park Aquatic and Recreation Center at 8750 El Tovar Place, directly adjacent to the West Hollywood Park grounds.

For additional details about the City of West Hollywood’s Winter Wonderland event, please reach out to the City’s Recreation Services Division at (323) 848-6534 or recreation@weho.org. Those who are Deaf or hard of hearing can contact TTY at (323) 848-6496.
