The Restaurant Closed Aug. 16, Calling the Move a Pause to Regroup
Stella West Hollywood suspended the restaurant’s service on August 16, in a post on Instagram, citing the difficult operating environment many Los Angeles eateries are currently navigating.
In a statement to guests, management emphasized that the closure is temporary and described it as an opportunity to “catch our breath, regroup, and plan for what’s next.” The restaurant thanked its patrons and staff for their support and said it hopes to return in the future.
“We’re so proud of the community we’ve built here — the conversations shared, the celebrations toasted, the meals that brought people together,” the statement read. “This isn’t the end of Stella.”
The restaurant also encouraged Angelenos to continue dining locally, making sure to support their fellow restaurateurs dealing with the ongoing pressures facing the industry.
No timeline has been set for when Stella may reopen.
