SaMo Pride’s Biggest Celebration: Live Music, LGBTQ+ Vendors, Giveaways

Downtown Santa Monica will come alive with color, music, and celebration on Saturday, June 21, as the city hosts its all-ages Pride on the Promenade event from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The free afternoon gathering is a centerpiece of this year’s SaMo Pride festivities, highlighting the city’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and LGBTQ+ visibility.

The main stage lineup features a diverse mix of performers, including Vienna Vienna, Bryce Xavier, Sofya Wang, Mariachi Arcoiris de Los Ángeles, DJ Zeus, LA Cheer, DEVMO, Jenna Diamond, TMarsh, Blow Brass, Fox Kendall Woods, and the School of Rock, offering a dynamic mix of genres and performances throughout the day.

Other celebrations on June 21 include:

Silent Disco + Kid Zone at Santa Monica Place

Pickle Pop Pride Party

Pride Pop Up Library

Dozens of community organizations and vendors will also be on site offering resources and services. Participating exhibitors include the Santa Monica Fire Department, Big Blue Bus, Santa Monica Housing and Human Services, Santa Monica Public Library, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and the Red Cross, alongside faith organizations, health providers, and LGBTQ+ affirming groups.

Attendees can explore LGBTQ+ vendor booths, enjoy photo opportunities, and connect with local services in a celebratory and affirming space. Pets are welcome, and public restrooms will be accessible nearby in Parking Structures 2, 4, and 5. While RSVP is encouraged, walk-ups are welcome.

Pride on the Promenade is part of SaMo Pride, a month-long series of events honoring LGBTQ+ pride and inclusion across the city. For more information, visit www.smpride.com.
