Event in Eagle Rock to Feature Art, Vintage, Tattoos, Snacks, Custom Portraits
A vibrant mix of food, art, and community is on the menu this Saturday, May 17, as the fourth installment of Gaycuterie, a queer pop-up market and social gathering, curated by Pink Flamingos Supper Club, returns to Solarc Brewing in Eagle Rock.
Running from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., Gaycuterie Vol. 4 will feature a festive lineup of local queer creatives and vendors offering everything from handmade ceramics and vintage goods to tattoos, artwork, and sweet treats. The event is free and open to the public.
Hosted by Pink Flamingo Supper Club in collaboration with Jazzy Jams, the gathering centers around an indulgent spread of toasties, jams, and curated snacks designed to celebrate queer joy and culinary creativity.
This edition of the pop-up market comes with a portrait special. Artist Mary Millikin offers drawings that are the Doll Version of You/Your Partner, Bestie, or Pet. These will be in addition to the regular style portraits. Each doll portrait will be on-the-spot or from a photo, 8×10”, and you get to choose your slogan, favorite items, and pose. Millikin said, “Looking forward to seeing what we come up with this weekend.”
Attendees can sip craft beer from Solarc Brewing while browsing booths, connecting with artists, and enjoying a uniquely inclusive neighborhood market atmosphere. The event will take place at Solarc Brewing, 3505 Eagle Rock Blvd., Los Angeles, CA. All are welcome.
