City Seeks Community Insight on Unmet Needs and Future Program Priorities
The City of West Hollywood is inviting residents to weigh in on future social services priorities as part of its funding review process for the 2025–2028 cycle.
A public hearing hosted by the city’s Human Services Commission will take place on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 625 N. San Vicente Boulevard. The hearing is part of West Hollywood’s periodic evaluation of its Human Services Division’s funding priorities. Community members will have the opportunity to offer feedback on unmet social service needs and suggest ideas for future programming.
The city encourages participation from all residents, either in person or remotely. Those wishing to speak via Zoom must register by emailing HSCPublicComment@weho.org no later than 12 p.m. on April 8 to be added to the speaker list. Public comments will help guide how the city allocates funding for programs addressing a wide range of needs, including housing assistance, mental health resources, job support, legal services, and HIV/AIDS prevention.
Validated parking will be available at the five-story West Hollywood Park parking garage adjacent to the meeting venue on a first-come, first-served basis. The meeting agenda is available at weho.org/agendas.
The hearing will be broadcast live on Spectrum Channel 10 in West Hollywood and streamed online at weho.org/wehotv and on the City’s YouTube channel, WeHoTV. Viewers can also access the meeting on Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, and Roku by searching “WeHoTV.”
