Last Call? Rock & Reilly’s on Sunset Strip Reportedly Closes Its Doors
Rock & Reilly’s Irish Pub, a well-known establishment on West Hollywood’s Sunset Strip, appears to have closed. While a definitive statement has not been made by the pub’s owners, the Yelp Page says that Yelpers report that it has closed and the Google Maps listing says that the location has been permanently closed.
The pub is renowned for its lively atmosphere, extensive selection of Irish whiskeys, and popular events such as epic St. Patrick’s Day parties. The pub has been a popular spot for Irish celebrities to visit. It seems strange for a bar that could have celebrated the biggest day for Irish pubs in Los Angeles would close its doors right before the celebrated day of drinking.
Rock & Reilly’s continues to operate at other venues, including Topanga Social in Canoga Park and at its USC location, judging by their Yelp and Google pages.
Rock & Reilly’s opened its first location on the Sunset Strip in 2011, quickly becoming a staple in the West Hollywood bar scene. The pub’s original location was known for its swanky ambiance and adult frat-house status, attracting a diverse crowd of locals and tourists alike.
The owners haven’t made a comment, but we will report if that changes.
