An Evening of Drag Bingo and Community Health Resources at Fiesta Hall
The City of West Hollywood is partnering with the Institute for Public Strategies (IPS) to present Slay the Night: Holiday Drag Bingo on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024. The event, which runs from 6 to 8 p.m. at Plummer Park’s Fiesta Hall, 7377 Santa Monica Blvd., combines festive fun with access to vital health resources for the community.
Hosted by the Safer WeHo Coalition—a grassroots initiative led by IPS to prevent substance use-related harm—Slay the Night aims to offer a safe, engaging, and inclusive space for community connection. The coalition works to promote healthier lifestyles by creating alternatives to traditional nightlife activities in West Hollywood.
The event will feature lively drag bingo entertainment while providing attendees with access to important resources in a stigma-free environment. IPS and its partners will distribute Narcan and offer other harm-reduction tools to empower individuals to make informed health decisions.
Slay the Night is designed to celebrate community while offering critical support services in an inclusive and welcoming space.
