West Hollywood’s Priciest Penthouse Hits the Market for $27.5M

Luxurious Residence Boasts Sweeping Views, Celebrity Neighbors

One of the luxurious penthouses at 8899 Beverly, the tallest residential tower in West Hollywood, has been listed for $27.5 million. Known as Penthouse West, the 7,300-square-foot residence occupies half of the top floor of the Olson Kundig-designed 10-story building.

The property features four bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and expansive living spaces with 14-foot ceilings, wood-paneled walls, hardwood floors, and a custom lighting system. Automated glass walls open onto a wraparound terrace offering panoramic views.

The open-concept living room is a standout feature, anchored by a floor-to-ceiling fireplace. The dining area flows into a gourmet kitchen outfitted with custom white oak cabinetry, Calacatta gold marble countertops, and high-end Gaggenau, Miele, and Sub-Zero appliances. A separate prep kitchen provides additional functionality.

The penthouse also includes a hallway designed as an art gallery, a media room currently used as an office, and a primary suite spanning more than 1,000 square feet with dual walk-in closets and baths.

The building’s amenities come with a monthly HOA fee of $12,767. Residents enjoy a 24-hour concierge, a fitness center, a yoga studio, a private four-car garage, and outdoor spaces with a pool, spa, fireplaces, and a covered dining area. Additionally, the Italian restaurant Stella West Hollywood is located on-site.

The listing agents are Mauricio Umansky, estranged husband of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards, Michelle Montany, and Taaseen Qureshi of The Agency.

The 8899 Beverly development, which debuted in 2022, has attracted notable buyers, including actor Matt Damon, Comcast CEO Brian Roberts, and real estate broker and reality TV star Mauricio Umansky. Earlier this year, a smaller penthouse in the building sold for $24 million, one of Southern California’s highest condo sales in recent years.
