Popular Eatery Confirms Its Final Service Will Be On October 26
Tesse, the acclaimed West Hollywood restaurant known for its innovative cuisine and extensive wine selection, will close its doors after more than six years of operation.
The restaurant’s social media account on Instagram was hacked and deleted, but the restaurant’s website confirmed the news with this message, “Tesse will be closing after our final service on Saturday, October 26th. Thank you to all of our loyal guests and supporters for the most incredible past seven years! Please come see us one more time before we say goodbye!”
Tesse, which opened in 2018, was a collaboration between restaurateur Bill Chait—known for his work on popular establishments such as Bestia and Tartine—and wine expert Jordan Ogron. Chef Raphael Francois, who previously led multiple Michelin-starred restaurants in France, crafted Tesse’s menu, while pastry chef Sally Camacho handled the dessert program.
Despite the closure, Ogron and Chait are hopeful about the future of the space. They are currently exploring new concepts to replace Tesse, though no definitive plans have been made. The team intends to retain the lease as they consider their next steps.
