Two People trapped and rescued by firefighters on Thursday
A two-vehicle collision Thursday afternoon at 7665 W. Fountain Avenue resulted in one of the vehicles crashing into a building corner and left three people injured, according to authorities. The crash occurred around 4:38 p.m., prompting the Los Angeles County Fire Department to assist in rescue efforts at the scene.
Two of the three individuals involved were trapped inside their vehicles, requiring extrication by emergency responders. The Los Angeles County Fire Department successfully removed both trapped patients.
According to officials, the victims included an approximately 70-year-old female, whose condition is currently unknown, and a 30-year-old male in serious condition. They were transported for medical treatment, along with a 70-year-old male with non-life-threatening injuries.
