Applications Open Through Nov. 1 For Interested Community Members
There’s only a short time left to apply for the Los Angeles County LGBTQ+ Commission’s two open at-large commissioner seats. Applications are open through Friday, Nov. 1, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online, with all submissions reviewed together following the deadline. If you would like to apply click here.
The commission, which advises the L.A. County Board of Supervisors and other departments on matters affecting LGBTQ+ communities, seeks to promote inclusivity and address issues impacting community well-being.
Commissioners will review and recommend changes to existing county programs and policies, aiming to ensure equitable service for all residents. Newly appointed commissioners are expected to attend monthly in-person meetings at the Hall of Administration, starting at 9:30 a.m. and lasting through the day.
