Event Offers Voter Registration, Election Information, and Ballot Demonstrations
The City of West Hollywood, in collaboration with the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder and County Clerk, is hosting a Voter Education Forum on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Council Chambers/Public Meeting Room at 625 N. San Vicente Boulevard. This event is open to the public and offers an opportunity to register to vote, update voter registration, and practice using ballot-marking devices. Attendees can also learn about voter options for people with disabilities and get information on the upcoming election.

The 2024 General Municipal Election, scheduled for Tuesday, November 5, 2024, will include two West Hollywood City Council seats and a ballot measure. City Council members are elected for four-year terms. Information on the candidates and Measure WH can be found on the City’s election website.
Voters are encouraged to plan ahead for the election. The deadline to register to vote is Monday, October 21, 2024. Voters can check or update their registration status via the LA County Registrar-Recorder’s website or by calling (800) 815-2666.
All registered voters in West Hollywood will receive a vote-by-mail ballot. These ballots will be mailed starting October 7, 2024, and drop-off locations will open on October 8, 2024. Voters have the option to return their ballots by mail, at drop-off locations, at Vote Centers, or LA County elections offices. Early in-person voting begins on October 26, 2024.
