Conservative PNC Member Allegedly Confronted and Chest-Bumped William Gude During Heated Exchange
Kyle McAuley, a board member of the Palms Neighborhood Council (PNC) has been accused of assault and obnoxious behavior by journalists at the Council’s Palms Community Day Event. While the journalist and live streamer, William Gude, also known as Film the Police, was confronting the City Attorney Hydee Feldstein Soto and asking her questions, the PNC board member chose to get into Gude’s face, chest bump him, call him names and attempt to drive him away.
He was also seen on video knocking over the President of the Council, Kay Hartman, while taunting Gude in a bizarre manner and then accusing Gude of assaulting Hartman.
On social media, William Gude noted that McAuley, who openly supports Donald Trump and calls himself a conservative, posted an anti-transgender message on his Instagram reels. The message calls transgender identity a “corrupt, damaging trans ideology.” McAuley couches it with a typical “save the children” message used by MAGA followers. He also has a link to a YouTube video entitled “Dr. John Money and the sinister origins of the trans movement” on his Instagram profile.
A social media post on Twitter has a photo of McAuley dressed in drag in a blonde wig. He seemed to think the post was funny and said that the photo came from a night when he dressed up as Miley Cyrus, which seems somewhat ironic.
