Rumors Swirl as ‘For Lease’ Sign Appears at RHOBH Star’s West Hollywood Boutique

Sutton Stracke Responds to Speculation About Her Store: Good Things Coming!

By Dolores Quintana

A social media user named Ben P. Pollack posted a photo of Sutton, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ West Hollywood boutique, with a “For Lease” sign, and Sutton Stracke responded on Instagram.

Stracke’s message said, “I hear those streets are talking about my store… if you want the real tea, just ask the pot;) Good things coming! And I love #weho, and we are doing this together. #sustainablefashion #circularfashion @thesuttonconcept and @suttonbrands are only getting better. Thank you for your patience

The photo posted on social media sites on August 17 clearly shows a black “For Lease” sign. Pollack captioned the photo with a single word: “Gasp.”

After the photo was posted, a wave of breathless and speculative reports flooded social media and Bravo celebrity gossip sites, shrouding Stracke’s namesake boutique in mystery. When we visited the store on Sunday, the For Lease signage was still there, and the lights were on. No notice on the front door explained the closure; there was just a page that directed patrons to the Sutton online store with a QR code.

The store’s website has a notice about the closure, which states, “Store is Temporarily Closed for the Month of August 2024. Please go to THIS LINK if you would like to place an order online. The store’s address on Google Maps has been updated, stating that the store is temporarily closed.

From what I observed at the store, the signage was also on another building in the small shopping center called Almont Yard. One of the other stores in Almont Yard may be available for lease, but Stracke’s statement did not specifically state that the store will remain open at its current location. We have asked the store for a statement and will update this story if we receive an answer.
