Surveillance Footage Captures Thieves Ransacking Huener’s Jewelry Store
A burglary crew congratulated themselves during a 24-hour heist in West Hollywood at Huener’s Jewelry store in mid-June, which was caught on the store’s cameras.
The burglary took place on Father’s Day, June 17, and targeted the store located in the 7900 block of Santa Monica Boulevard. According to Robert Goukasian, co-owner of Huener’s Jewelry, the thieves broke into the store around 3:00 a.m. and carried out the burglary over a period of more than 24 hours.
In the video, you can see the burglars hugging and tapping each other on the shoulders while wearing masks. Robert Goukasian, posted the video on the social media outlet.

“It’s hard to watch, seeing everything, kind of like, in front of your eyes being taken,” Goukasian lamented.
It is unknown why, but the alarm system failed to alert the owners of the break-in. Robbers cut open two safes, emptying them of their contents and all the merchandise on display.
“Both safes had been cut open, and your entire work of 40 years is just gone,” Goukasian added.
The owners were alerted to the break-in around 4 a.m. when an L.A. County Sheriff’s Deputy called to inform them of the incident and advised them to come down to their shop.
