Max Hosts Epic Drag Extravaganza for House of the Dragon
Pride and passion converged at Max’s HOUSE OF DRAG viewing party, where the borough’s queer community and House of the Dragon fans gathered to celebrate the Season 2 premiere. Hosted on premiere night, the event featured Baby Love’s Fagtasia, an electrifying drag performance reinterpreting the HBO Original series. The highlight of the evening was a spirited “Battle for the Iron Throne” among competing queens, followed by an exclusive live screening of House of the Dragon Season 2.
The event, emceed by the legendary Priyanka from HBO’s We’re Here, offered a vibrant atmosphere complemented by music from DJs Byrell the Great, Kilo Patrah Jones, Oscar Ñn, Maya, Fried Platano, and Joselo.
House of the Dragon, based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” explores the history of House Targaryen, set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones. Co-creator and Executive Producer George R.R. Martin and Showrunner/Executive Producer Ryan Condal lead the creative team, with a star-studded cast including Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Eve Best, and more returning for Season 2.
New episodes of House of the Dragon air weekly on HBO, with streaming available on Max. Season 1 is currently accessible for viewers to catch up on the series’ dramatic origins.
