Produced by Fine Point Films and Sony Music Entertainment in association with Concord Originals, the documentary chronicles Lauper’s rise to stardom, highlighting her influence on generations through her music, punk style, feminism, and advocacy.

Legacy Recordings, Sony Music Entertainment’s catalog division, has released a companion album to the documentary titled “LET THE CANARY SING.” The album, available now on vinyl and as a digitally expanded edition, spans Lauper’s illustrious career.
