Eyewitnesses Contradict Kanye’s Team, Claiming West Instigated Altercation
Rapper Kanye West allegedly punched one of two twin brothers, who are prominent restauranteurs, according to witnesses present at the Chateau Marmont hotel on the morning of Wednesday, April 17, as reported by TMZ. The eyewitnesses’ statements contradict the previous account that was released by West’s team, alleging that it was Kanye West who instigated the altercation.
Reportedly, according to the eyewitnesses, a man accidentally bumped into Ye’s wife, Bianca Censori, in the crowded hotel lobby and simply kept walking. Subsequently, the man sat outside with friends, where Kanye confronted him, allegedly punching him twice in the face. However, allegedly, the wrong man was punched because both of the twins, Mark and Jonnie Houston, were present at the table.
The Houston twins are well-known restaurant owners in L.A., boasting establishments such as No Vacancy, Davey Wayne’s, Black Rabbit Rose, and Break Room 86.
After the incident, Kanye left the Chateau without waiting for the authorities. When the LAPD arrived, they initiated an investigation. The LAPD has stated that they would like to speak with West about the incident about the battery report because he is a suspect in the matter.
West’s press representative maintains that Censori was reportedly sexually assaulted, but the police have not found evidence to back the allegation as of now.
