Cinespia Returns to Hollywood Forever Cemetery with Fan Favorite Lineup

Experience Movie Magic Under the Stars Starting Memorial Day Weekend

Cinespia, LA’s beloved outdoor cinematic experience, will kick off Memorial Day Weekend at Hollywood Forever Cemetery with a lineup of fan-favorite films, superstar DJs, and enchanting free photo booths.

Presented by Amazon MGM Studios, this summer’s screenings promise unforgettable evenings under the stars. Cinespia founder John Wyatt expressed his excitement, stating, “We’re so excited to be back at the Cemetery with some incredible Cinespia fan-favorite films to kick off the summer.”

The lineup includes:

  • Sunday, May 26th: Se7en – Sin is in at our Cemetery Screening Premiere! Unbox David Fincher’s clincher with a party and a picnic. Feel free to be slothful: we’ll have grilled foods, popcorn, kettlecorn, and a beer and wine bar. Get ready to roll with DJ sets and a Free Photobooth. Gluttony ain’t so bad, is it?
  • Saturday, June 1st: Legally Blonde – Think Pink for the Y2K Barbie Movie! Picnic at Cinespia while Elle Woods gives Harvard Law a makeover. What, like it’s hard? We have everything for your perfect day: a variety of foods to eat and a 2000s-style DJ dance party. Bend and snap in our bubblegum pink Free Photobooth.
  • Saturday, June 8th: Dazed and Confused – Saturday night is alright, alright, alright, with a classic on the big screen and a party to match. Concessions classics, nachos, hot dogs, and grilled foods really hit the spot; no paddle needed. DJ sets will spin until yesterday’s a haze. Remember: you just gotta keep livin’, man, L-I-V-I-N.
  • Saturday, June 15th: Across The Universe – All you need is love at our screening of the psychedelic fan favorite! Party hard and picnic with a little help from your friends, and let us take care of the rest: DJ sets, concessions snacks, grilled food, and a beer and wine bar. Our Free Photobooth makes the Beatles-verse yours. Come together!
  • Saturday, June 22nd: D.E.B.S. Special Pride Screening – Party with diamonds in your eyes this Pride month! It’s a sapphic spectacle when romance blossoms between a secret spy and her mark. Lez be honest: what follows is a queer masterpiece and a marvel of green-screen-ography. Super spies, celebrate with a picnic, or let us fulfill your date with destiny: DJ dance party, Free Photobooth, beer and wine bar, and food for every craving.
  • Saturday, June 29th: What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? – Hollywood’s gothic masterpiece, creepy and camp all at once. Write a letter to Daddy about all the treats: full bar, DJ sets, hot food, and concessions classics. You’re a star in our Free Photobooth. But you are, Blanche. You are!

Each screening promises a unique experience, featuring themed parties, picnics, DJ sets, and free photobooths tailored to the film’s ambiance.

Since its humble beginnings, a screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s cinematic classic Strangers on a Train for a small crowd, Cinespia has evolved into a Los Angeles institution, attracting hundreds of thousands of moviegoers to the famed Fairbanks Lawn. Offering a relaxed and off-beat atmosphere, Cinespia welcomes up to 4,000 guests per night, encouraging them to bring blankets, food, and drinks to enjoy classic cinematic moments beneath the stars.
