Weho’s Cannabis Destination Is Back After a Four-Year Hiatus
After a hiatus of four years, a pioneering establishment in the Southern California cannabis scene has reopened. Located at 1201 N. La Brea Ave. in West Hollywood, The OG Cannabis Cafe has reopened after closing during the pandemic.
The restaurant returned to the scene on January 11, and nothing much has changed according to the cafe’s co-owner Sean Black. As quoted by the Los Angeles Times, Black said, “To be honest, we haven’t changed anything — it’s exactly the same except for the cannabis menu and some small changes to the menu.”
OG Cannabis Cafe is serious about both the cannabis and the menu, with a full dinner, brunch, or lunch menu and an extensive build-your-own-dessert menu, either sundaes or milkshakes, ice cream cookie sandwiches, loaded PB&J, fruit bowl, and a flourless chocolate cake. On the restaurant’s Instagram page, you can see that they also have coffee with a creation called Cupid’s Bow, a iced raspberry latte with red velvet cold foam as well as wine and beer.
However, OG Cannabis Cafe is not the only game in town anymore after closing during the pandemic. Now there are at least three restaurants or cafes that have cannabis for sale, PleasureMed, The Woods and The Artist Tree in the West Hollywood area.
