West Hollywood Unveils WeHo Pride 2024: A Month-Long Celebration of LGBTQ+ Joy and Activism

Join Mayor John M. Erickson in Celebrating Diversity from May 22 to June 30

The City of West Hollywood has officially announced the dates for WeHo Pride 2024, promising a month-long extravaganza of events, activism, and joy. Mayor John M. Erickson invites everyone to be part of the fabulous celebrations from May 22 to June 30, featuring a diverse array of activities for the LGBTQ+ community.

Highlighted Events:

  • Harvey Milk Day Kick-Off (May 22, 2024):
    • Launching with the 2nd annual José Julio Sarria Drag Pageant.
    • Detailed information will be available on www.wehopride.com.
  • WeHo Pride Weekend (May 31 to June 2, 2024):
    • Featuring Friday Night at OUTLOUD, WeHo Pride Street Fair, Women’s Freedom Festival, Dyke March, WeHo Pride Parade, and OUTLOUD @ WeHo Pride music festival.
    • Free community concert on May 31 – RSVP at www.wehopride.com.
  • OUTLOUD @ WeHo Pride (May 31 to June 2, 2024):
    • A star-studded music festival advocating for queer voices in music.

  • WeHo Pride Street Fair (June 1-2, 2024):
    • Celebrate LGBTQ+ pride with diverse exhibitors along Santa Monica Boulevard.

  • Women’s Freedom Festival (June 1, 2024):
    • Presented by the L-Project Los Angeles, showcasing LGBTQ and BIPOC women and non-binary talents.

    • Rolling down Santa Monica Boulevard is a colorful celebration of LGBTQ+ representation.

  • WeHo Pride Arts Festival (June 14-16, 2024):
    • A showcase of LGBTQ+ dance, visual art, performance, and more at various locations in West Hollywood.
  • Community Involvement (May-June 2024):
    • Community groups are invited to apply for City funding to host independent Pride events.
