LA Pride 2024 Unveils Empowering Theme: “Power in Pride” and Pride 2024 Dates

Early Bird Tickets Now Available, Pride Parade Date Confirmed

Christopher Street West Association (CSW) – the 501(c)3 nonprofit that has produced the historic LA Pride celebration for more than 50 years – has unveiled the 2024 theme as “Power in Pride.” A limited number of early bird tickets are now available to purchase for $49 at lapride.org. Additionally, CSW has confirmed the 54th Annual LA Pride Parade will be held in Hollywood on Sunday, June 9, 2024.

“Power means the ability to live authentically,” said LA Pride board president Gerald Garth. “The LGBTQIA+ community has long been united by the very same attribute that makes us unique, and that is what ‘Power in Pride’ reflects. In an especially contentious election year and time where we continue to face anti-LGBTQ legislation at the local and national levels, it’s an important reminder that by coming together, we can foster power and uplift the community through advocacy and celebration.”

The music event will take place on June 8. Information about performers and additional weekend programming will be announced in the coming weeks.

Details pertaining to parking, transportation, safety, security, medical support, participating vendors, and media credentials are forthcoming. For sponsorship and other talent inquiries, contact LA Pride at intheknow@lapride.org. For more information, follow @lapride on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter.

Christopher Street West Association (CSW), a 501(c)3 nonprofit, organized the world’s first permitted parade advocating for gay rights on June 28, 1970, to commemorate the Stonewall Rebellion on Christopher Street in New York City the year prior. Over 50 years later, CSW remains an active voice for the LGBTQ+ community of Greater Los Angeles. While best known for producing the iconic LA Pride Parade celebration and Pride in the Park, they also organize, sponsor, or support community events throughout the year and work with their nonprofit, philanthropic, and community partners to further diversity, equity, and inclusion.
