Sutton Stracke To Host The Abbey’s 14th Annual Tree Lighting Celebration

Commemorate World AIDS Day and Raise Funds To Help Those in Need

By Dolores Quintana

Decking the Halls with heartfelt compassion at The Abbey during the 14th Annual Tree Lighting. This wonderful community event will take place on Saturday, December 1, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and everyone is invited to share in the warmth of the holiday season and the traditions of West Hollywood and The Abbey.

The event has taken place yearly during Dave Cooley’s ownership and will not stop this year now that tech entrepreneur, hotelier, and patron of the Abbey, Tristan Schukraft, is soon to take ownership of The Abbey and The Chapel. Sutton Stracke of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will host this year’s event, which is produced in collaboration with the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation.

Enjoy the holiday songs from the Trans Chorus of Los Angeles and sip on festive cocktails crafted with Tito’s Handmade Vodka. The evening will include a $10,000 check donation presentation to the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation.

The night’s schedule is as follows:

6:30 PM: Welcome and Trans Chorus of Los Angeles Performance

6:45 PM: Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation Check Presentation

6:59 PM: Tree Lighting Countdown

7:00 PM: Lyle Anthony Performance

The event is open to all and raises funds for the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation to continue its work in the community, providing services, advocacy, direct care and prevention, and stewardship for the future.
