PleasureMed, the avant-garde establishment spanning 6,500 square feet of botanical bliss at 7715 Santa Monica Blvd First Floor, West Hollywood, is set to redefine sensory experiences in West Hollywood. This multifaceted two-story space combines a state-of-the-art dispensary, a Californian-inspired farm-to-table restaurant called Irie, and an intimate outdoor lounge named Hind for craft cocktails.
Designed by Studio UNLTD, PleasureMed’s grand space draws inspiration from Havana’s apothecaries, featuring 13-foot coffered ceilings, intricate checkered marble flooring, and dramatic ivory beaded chandeliers. The dispensary showcases a diverse range of cannabis strains and products, with a focus on local and family-owned producers.
Some of the highlights include Apocalypze – Woman-owned, offering flower strains from Zombaeland to Space Dust. Artet – Family-owned, providing CBD and THC-infused spritzes and mixers. Wyld – The first carbon-neutral cannabis edibles company, using real fruit and natural flavors.
The second floor houses the destination restaurant, Irie, offering a highly curated farm-to-table menu. The space, named after the Jamaican word for ‘everything is alright,’ features bespoke elements, including custom-carved dining booths and a marble-topped bar. Irie welcomes diners with laidback Afro-Latino beats and a flight attendant-like expert to guide patrons through the cannabis menu. Some of the dishes that must be mentioned are dandelion and frisee Caesar bottarga, croutons, parmesan, Barramundi rapini with preserved lemon, fume, venison burger with aioli, sesame bun, tomato, sweet & sours, arugula, cheddar and Hidden Pearl Lion’s Mane Cakes – vegan aioli, basil, cilantro, lime.
Adjacent to the dispensary is the outdoor bar and lounge, Hind, accommodating up to 45 people. Craft cocktails, both alcoholic and zero-proof, are served alongside dishes from Irie. Some of these exquisitely created drinks are Wake N’ Bake – Reposado, 43, espresso, banana, cereal whip, popcorn salt, The Green Fairy – St. Germain, apple, cucumber, sparkling wine, & anise aromatics. Pornstar Slush – Oaxacan rum, Bacardi, Aquavit, Pamplemousse, passionfruit, mango, coconut, vanilla bean, lime. The space features custom white oak table tops and deeply veined leathered marble.
PleasureMed Dispensary is open Monday through Sunday, 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Irie is open Monday through Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. Reservations can be secured at RESY. Hind is open Monday through Sunday 5:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. and reservations can be secured at RESY as well.
The exterior of PleasureMed hosts a 67’ x 30’ 3D video art experience titled “The Jaguar’s Eye,” exclusively created by Optical Animal and Brian Robinson. This immersive piece illuminates the PleasureMed building, offering a larger-than-life canvas on the iconic Route 66 highway.
PleasureMed’s commitment to community involvement is evident through its mission-driven initiatives, including the donation of 4% of profits to LGBTQ and Social Justice Reform nonprofits in Los Angeles. An additional 1% will be distributed to patron/employee-nominated nonprofits. PleasureMed, an inclusive space changing the perception of cannabis lounges, anticipates welcoming the Los Angeles community and beyond into its ethereal universe.
