Lil Nas X Releases New Music Video “Industry Baby”

Lil Nas X has shared the music video for his new song “Industry Baby”.

Directed by Christian Breslauer the video picks up where the trailer left off: After a trial, Lil Nas X gets sentenced to five years at Montero State Prison, where he lifts weights, dances in the showers, and, like all of the other inmates, rocks a pink jumpsuit.

Later in the video, featured artist (and fellow Montero inmate) Jack Harlow slips Lil Nas X a small pick-axe to aid an escape.

Take A Daytrip and Kanye West produced “Industry Baby.” The single follows Lil Nas X’s recent entries “Montero (Call Me by Your Name)” and “Sun Goes Down.” Lil Nas X is readying the release of his debut full-length Montero, the follow-up to his Grammy-nominated 7 EP.

Watch the video here:

Fans have flooded social media voicing their approval of Lil Nas X’s newest video. One fan posted, “@LilNasX is DIFFERENT. In the best possible way. Out and proud, killing the social media game, giving back to important causes and living his best life. It’s amazing to watch. I hope the people around him continue to uplift and protect him. I’m a fan.”

Unfortunately not all people are singing Lil Nas X’s praises. Sparking outrage in some of the more conservative communities with his controversial video some calling him “demonic” and “evil”.

Lil Nas X continues to address these hateful homophobic comments on social media by posting on Twitter saying:

“y’all be silent as hell when n***as dedicate their entire music catalogue to rapping about sleeping with multiple women. but when i do anything remotely sexual i’m “being sexually irresponsible” & “causing more men to die from aids” y’all hate gay ppl and don’t hide it.”
