Ryan Fischer, Lady Gaga’s dog walker, was the victim of a brutal robbery in West Hollywood Wednesday night.
30 year old Fischer was walking three of Gaga’s French bulldogs, named Miss Asia, Goji and Gustav, around 10pm when a single suspect armed with a semi-automatic handgun shot him four times in the chest and then fled with two of the dogs, Goji and Gustav.
Police found Fischer seriously injured and he was transported to the hospital where he is now said to be recovering well.
It is unclear whether Lady Gaga’s dogs were specifically targeted as part of the attack. Pedigree French bulldogs can sell anywhere for up to $10,000.
Mr Fischer had been caring for the dogs while Lady Gaga – real name Stefani Germanotta – was in Rome filming for a new movie.
The performer is said to be “extremely upset,” TMZ reported, citing sources close to the star. Gaga is reportedly offering a reward of $500,000 for the return of the dogs “no questions asked”.

The LAPD’s robbery/homicide division has taken over the case.
