Authorities are investigating a shooting at the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma on March 6.

Video footage shows someone ring 13 shots from a pickup truck around 12:30 a.m. damaging the front door and windows. It was later determined that a BB gun was used in the attack.

“I am sickened, yet not surprised, by the bullet holes that now riddle the front of the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center,” Oklahomans for Equality Board President Geoffrey Brewster said in an of cial repor t. “They are the latest reminder of the deep-seated hatred some individuals have towards the LGBTQ community.”

LGBTQ Oklahoman activist Sarah M. Bess wrote on her Twitter feed, “Apparently today, after the shooting, someone walked into the gay center yelling hate speech. People are feel- ing bold in their hate down here.”
